Tribal tattooing is an art that has been practiced by cultures around the world. It is still done the same way it was centuries ago in some parts of the world. Rather by picking at the skin and rubbing ink in or by cutting and rubbing ink in. Modern tattooing is done with a tattoo gun that vibrates or rotates a needle up and down. Tattoos have been around since the Neolithic Age also called New Stone Age an age when technology in humans first started showing up. This started about 9500 BC in the middle east. In Japan it is thought that some 10,000 years ago in the Paleolithic age they were applying tattoos. Tribal tattoos have been on mummies around the world. Even Ötzi the Iceman mummy had tattoos on his body. To date he is the oldest mummy found with tattoos at 5,300 years old. His body had some 57 different tattoos on it many they think were applied for medical treatments for pain in his joints like for arthritis in his back and legs. Otizi was found in the Austrian Alps. There was also mummies found that were around 2400 years old called the Pazyryk Mummies. They were found in the Altai Mountains of Siberia. They were found with animal style tattoos from a large variety of different animals. They also had monster and griffin tattoos these were thought to be a way of warding off evil or for decoration purposes. They could have also been a way of striking fear in the enemy on the battlefield. And then we have the Egyptian mummy Amunet she is around 3994 years old now and she had tattoos on her lower abdomen and it is said that these tattoos could have been for showing fertility. She was a priestess of Hathor and Hathor was the goddess of love. In the Pacific there was some pottery found that is presumed to be around 3000 years old. The art on the pottery shows a face with tattoos on the face of the person. This shows the Lapita culture were practicing tattoo techniques 3000 years ago. Mummies have been found in Central and South America. Inca mummies that date back to the 11th century. In North America the American Indians practiced tattooing each other. The Chickasaw would tattoo the best warriors among the tribe. The Inuit Indian women would tattoo there chins to show if they were taken and to indicate the tribe they were in. Tribal tattoos in Japan can be related to gangs of organized crime. Full body  tattoos that were performed the traditional way called Tebori were once outlawed in an effort to cut down on these crime rings. The prohibition lasted for 70 years. It was not until 1948 that it was removed from law. When the Spanish first arrived in the Philippines they were greeted by natives covered in full body tribal tattoo designs they dubbed the islands as La Isla De Los Pintados in English it means The Islands of the Painted Ones. Real tribal tattoos are to show status and rank. Some are for religious and even spiritual devotion. Many tribes around the world use them for sexual lures and to show fertility and maybe even to show bravery. While others it could be for punishment or a pledge of love. It just depends on who wears it and the why part is mostly up to the person. I have seen some for protection such as talismans and amulets. And some are for nothing more than a memory of a lost loved one.

There are many different styles of tattoos in the world but tribal tattoo designs have always sparked more interest in me than seeing a tattoo on someone of words or silly comic looking designs. And when it comes to tattoos the word tribal combined with tattoos goes back thousands of years. People will always decide on the one certain style or design that they would like to wear but few young people consider that they will one day be old people wearing ink designs that could resemble or point out being a wild child back in the day. I have had friends that carried out full sleeves only to find it hard to land a job they are well qualified to do. But the company can use a law called employment at will that allows them to weed out people for the job based on appearance alone. I have also had friends working for a large organization venture off and get a new tattoo that is hard to cover up and end up without a job due to this law. So if you think you can cover your body with tattoos and work anywhere you want to good luck with that idea.

Tattoos are more common now and acceptable in most cultures than they were 50 years ago. You will always get looks and comments on tattoos if you are not prepared to greet people who ask about them with a positive attitude think twice. People are always going to be intrigued to wonder what left you with the decision to get a tattoo.  Many people wonder because they two have thought about getting one. And in asking you questions about your tattoos they can gather information that can help them decide if they will get one or not.

The tattoo market has changed in many ways over the years but the internet has opened up a wide door for the tattoo industry online. The market has opened the doors for many businesses. Anything and everything from those who build and design the tattoo guns to the artist who draw the designs and place the ink in the skin. Without the tattoo market online where would we be folks? People would still be tearing apart door bells and 8 track tape players to build a tattoo gun. Even with links all over the internet they still do. I wonder if 8 track tape players are getting hard to find?  The market is wide open each and every day for new designs you can invent the tattoo gun a thousand times until you eventually reach a point where you have the same gun over and over again but you can’t run out of designs. And you can’t reinvent the same gun designer over and over again. I have seen tattoo guns that looked just like the high dollar custom jobs and sold for hundreds less. But when you plug it in the gun does not hold a candle to the real thing.

This tattoo market took me over a year to figure out and get online. The designs found on this website are from different artist. You will notice that every design on this tribal tattoo site has a brand  name on each design. If it says Tribal Tattoo Market then it belongs to me. But any that say Resell were purchased with resell rights to them.

We buy some tattoo designs from artist and we also draw our own now and then. These designs do not come with the line art. We can produce it for you for a fee if needed.

But if you would rather not spend out big money on a custom one of a kind work of art that you will own full rights to exclusively then by all means pick out a random design from our site and enjoy yourself. These artist would love to create your tattoo design for you so please let them know if they can help.

Would you want your first tattoo to be done by a drunk friend? Would you want to be drunk when you get it? How would you know if you like the tattoo or not if your drunk? Would you want to get a tattoo from guy in the flea market? I mean think about it what can you catch just by getting one from the wrong person and the wrong environment? Well there is lots of things but one of them is staff infection and it is no joke and very hard to cure. People die from it all the time maybe not always form a bad tattoo because you can also catch it from the hospital. But I have heard of many things that people can catch. When you think about it your pricking the skin so when you upon that up and have bacteria in the air well you’re a goner for sure. So if your new to the tattoo idea please consider it strongly enough to be safe when you do it.
And while your being safe and avoiding that old biker looking guy at the flea market doing the cheap but good looking tattoos also think about being happy with the tat. Getting inked is nothing you want to be laughing at 30 years from now trust me you can only tattoo over someone’s name so many times until you have this deformed looking spot that makes people ask what it is. You know what it is but you hate telling the story over an over again.  Be grown up about the idea think about being older one day and how your going to feel when your 70 looking at a tattoo on your arm of Bud Light.

People never stop to consider this is my skin this is all the canvas I was given when I was born if this runs out I have no more. And laser removal hurts like hell I hear. You just thought the tattoo hurt getting it wait till they burn the ink out with a laser. All I’m saying is when the time comes be sure be happy now and 50 year from now. What you do reflects on your kids if you got a tattoo of a 45 automatic on your neck one day your kids are going to grow up and be like mommy or daddy. So don’t bitch and moan when it happens think twice about your ink.

And by all means avoid tattoo parlors in flea markets or someone’s garage. Save your money and hire a professional to do it in a clean studio. Live a long time and be able to enjoy that ink don’t waste it or your life to save a dollar.

We have purchased over 2000 different tattoo designs in the past few weeks. We are working to weed out the ones we don’t think are good quality and when we complete this these designs will be uploaded. Today I purchased 900 Tribal and Celtic designs that I will be uploading soon and just about everyone of them is 100% high quality designs. We are also buying EBooks that have anything to do with tattoos and selling them on our site. The ones you see for sale I have viewed and feel good about selling them. But I have a few I purchased I wish I had my money back on these you will not find on my site. And ever now and then I also put togehter my own Tribal Tattoo Ebooks with many of my won designs. I have one for sale on both of my other websites Bytribaltattoos.com and Selltribaltattoos.com these two sites are full of information and also are great place to meet up with real artist that would love to work on a custom design for you. Tribal tattoo ebooks are by far one the coolest things I have found. Sure some the quality in them is poor but if you know anything about graphics on a computer you can pull them in and clean them up. A tribal tattoo ebook is also a great way for a new artist to show the world what they can do. Publish a collection of designs or share the ups and downs of being a tattoo artist. Anything you can find to write about will help you get a better start in the field of being a Tribal Tattoo Artist. Buying Tribal Tattoo Ebooks can be costly and in some  cases even free depending where you score them from. When they are to free thats when you can rest assure they will include some kind of spyware for your computer. No matter what I pay for Tribal Tattoo Ebooks with resell rights I sell them for a $1.00 a download. But the ones that I publish with my art I start off selling for the normal price range of $15.00 for the first year and then start bumping them down after that. If you can't find a single design in the world you like it might be a good idea to purchase a collection published in Tattoo Ebook and then scale things down a little and then hire a custom tattoo design srtist to work it out for you.

Tattoo art is hard to sell in bulk unless you just pretty much give it away. I have seen people selling 8000 designs on a CD on Ebay for $10.00 and yes I even purchased a few of these with resell rights. But only to find the images were all poor quality and not worth selling. But they sure took my $10.00 for it. I guess you just never know until you spend the money. We work things a little different here. I get tattoos for this site in two ways the first is by my own hand I draw them. The second way is we are very much like the We Buy Gold people however tattoo designs are not gold so we make an offer on them in bulk. Our offer may not be anywhere near what the artist might think they are worth but when there is no one left to buy them and you have to sit on these designs and wait for a customer to spend a single dollar on one of those designs we are that one person that is left willing to sit things out. I want to build the largest internet based tattoo design website in the world.

This site is like the dollar store folks I could spread this stuff all the internet on a 100 different sites and sit back and wait on it to sell for big money. But I’m dealing in dollars here the economy is bad no one has any money so here it is everything is $1.00 If you think that’s to high then you need to keep looking around and then come on back here.
